After a whopping investment of over 1 billion THB for a remarkable renovation, Paradise Park, the MBK Group-owned shopping haven in eastern Bangkok, has unveiled its stunning transformation. Introducing a vibrant new strategy and concept, “LIVING in HARMONY,” this retail paradise has focused its efforts on promoting mindful living, healthy eating, and overall well-being. Partnering with premier health organizations, Paradise Park is set to become a holistic health and wellness landmark, all while adding exciting new stores and monthly activities to keep visitors engaged. It’s a hub where joy and lifestyle needs blend seamlessly.

The grand Paradise Park Good Life Celebration kicked off with a star-studded event graced by noteworthy figures like Mr. Torsak Chotimongkol, Chairman of Adviser to the Governor of Bangkok; Mr. Wichak Praditavanij, CEO & President of MBK Public Company Limited; and Mr. Somphol Tripopnart, Chief Shopping Centre Business Officer of MBK Public Company Limited. The grand opening ceremony saw attendance from government partners, business associates, store operators, and beloved celebrities and artists such as ‘Jeab Pijittra,’ ‘Boy Peacemaker,’ and ‘Dr. Jeab Lalana.’ The turnout was nothing short of spectacular, taking place at the Royal Park Plaza, 1st Floor.

Mr. Wichak Praditavanij emphasized the significance of this grand renovation, marking the first major update in 13 years for Paradise Park. With over 260,000 square meters revamped, the “Natural” design concept aims to infuse the shopping center with greenery and tranquility, aligning perfectly with its location near Suan Luang Rama IX Park, the “lungs” of eastern Bangkok. The concept “LIVING in HARMONY” integrates health services to establish Paradise Park as a holistic Health and Wellness landmark. Some specialized health services offered include Pichayanin Mental Health Clinic, Dear Hearing S’RENE by SLC, anti-ageing urban clinics, and an upcoming dialysis center. Additionally, Paradise Park hosts health and beauty clinics, a premium herbal market offering recognized national herbal products, and stores specializing in elderly care, medical equipment, and health-related products.

Beyond health and wellness, Paradise Park boasts over 500 stores, ensuring every lifestyle need is met. Some highlights include:

Wow, over 1 billion THB for a shopping mall renovation! Is it just me or is that a crazy amount of money?

    • ThaiFanatic August 9, 2024

Amy, considering how important shopping malls are in Thai culture, that money is totally justified. This is a place for community and socializing, not just shopping.

      • Amy J. August 9, 2024

ThaiFanatic, I understand cultural value, but does that warrant spending billions? What about focusing more on education or healthcare?

      • Chris Miller August 9, 2024

Amy, to be fair, they are investing in healthcare services as part of the renovation. It’s more than just a shopping mall now.

    • ecoActivist101 August 9, 2024

If they really cared about health and wellness, they would have invested in more green spaces and less commercialism.

      • Amy J. August 9, 2024

ecoActivist101, good point! It feels a bit contradictory to promote health through consumerism.

      • Michael P. August 9, 2024

Guys, sometimes you need to use commercial platforms to promote positive changes. It’s about balance.

  2. Alex August 9, 2024

The new health services are a huge plus for the community. Finally, mental health services in a convenient location!

    • Lucy B. August 9, 2024

Agreed! Mental health is still such a stigma in Thailand, having clinics in a public space can normalize it.

    • Jatin Kumar August 9, 2024

It’s great, but will the services be affordable for the average person?

    • Alex August 9, 2024

Lucy B., exactly! The more visible these services are, the better.

  3. Sophie L. August 9, 2024

The dining options sound amazing! Can’t wait to try HITORI and Lucky Suki.

    • Krit T. August 9, 2024

True, but are these new dining options really worth the price increase?

    • foodie123 August 9, 2024

Sophie L., I’ve been to HITORI, and trust me, it’s worth every baht!

  4. Mark G. August 9, 2024

I’m interested in the tech zone. Hopefully, it’ll be better stocked than other places.

    • Luke August 9, 2024

I heard they’re going to have exclusive gadgets. So exciting!

    • techy99 August 9, 2024

Can’t wait to see what they have. In Bangkok, good tech stores are hard to come by.

  5. Hana August 9, 2024

The whole idea of ‘LIVING in HARMONY’ feels very market-driven. How genuine is this?

  6. Nina August 9, 2024

Bringing in healthcare organizations like Ramathibodi Hospital is a game-changer. It’s about time malls started thinking beyond consumerism.

    • Dr. Arun August 9, 2024

Nina, absolutely. Accessible healthcare in a community hub is a step in the right direction.

Greenery and tranquility in a shopping mall? Sounds like a PR stunt. Let’s see how long it lasts.

    • Karen August 9, 2024

Patrick, you might be right, but even a little green can make a difference in such a crowded city.

  8. Lisa August 9, 2024

The events lineup looks fantastic! I can’t wait for the comedy night with ‘3 Na.’

  9. classic_music_lover August 9, 2024

Pleng Ake and the Suntaraporn Orchestra performing? That’s a reason enough for me to visit!

  10. Roberta Y. August 9, 2024

Jewelry zones seem like a waste of space. How many people are really buying gold these days?

    • Phonta August 9, 2024

Roberta Y., you’d be surprised. It’s still a big part of Thai culture, especially for weddings and investment.

  11. Mike R. August 9, 2024

It’s interesting that they’re focusing on senior citizens. It’s refreshing to see a place care about all age groups.

Mike, if more places did this, our society would be much more inclusive for seniors.

    • Karen T. August 9, 2024

My grandma will love the new facilities. She’s always wanted more places to relax and socialize.

  12. shopaholic August 9, 2024

500 stores? My wallet is already crying!

More than the stores, I’m excited about the new educational services. It’s a one-stop place for everything!

    • EduMom August 9, 2024

As a parent, the tutoring centers are a lifesaver. No more long drives across the city.

  14. ecoConscious August 9, 2024

Are they planning any eco-friendly initiatives to go with their ‘Natural’ design concept?

    • Justice August 9, 2024
