The Thai Medical Council denies that private hospitals use foreign doctors

Every month, the medical council analyzes all applications for foreign doctors. It has a one-year expiration date and can only be used at state-run facilities. Several private hospitals claim to have foreign doctors on staff to assist with patient care and surgeries, despite Thai healthcare officials’ denials. To prevent liability issues, such medics are only allowed to work in state-run programs. Doctors who apply for this type of certification must present confirmation of employment from state agencies, and their credentials will be reviewed throughout the process. They’ll also require a visa that allows them to work, as well as insurance in some cases. Following allegations that some medical institutions are employing foreign doctors, Tharet Krassanairawiwong of the Department of Health Service Support has issued a warning to private hospitals to follow the law. In response to allegations made by some private hospitals, the MCT’s secretary-general, Dr. Ittaporn Kanacharoen, stated that…

A visitor in Pattaya claims he was beaten “bloody” by security officers near Walking Street

In the recent month, there has been a rash of crimes in Pattaya aimed at Indian tourists. The crimes have caused such a stir that a Pattaya police chief announced the development of a “specialized” police patrol team to monitor any illegal actions in tourist zones or crimes against visitors earlier this month. A Pattaya visitor alleges security agents viciously assaulted him in the early hours of this morning after a near-collision while driving along the city’s iconic Walking Street. The visitor, a 31-year-old Indian national who asked to remain anonymous, claimed he came dangerously close to colliding with a group of security guards stationed in front of a venue on Soi 16. According to the tourist’s account, he and the guards fought over who was to blame for the near-collision, and the guards then beat him “bloody” on his body but not his face. After the guards went, the…

Thailand’s yearly silk show in Bangkok contributes to the country’s ‘soft power’ strategy

As part of their soft power strategy, Thai officials have stated that they will continue to sell the country’s world-renowned silk. Permanent secretaries marched down a runway wearing the costumes from the fashion show. At a separate event, diplomats, as well as professional, amateur, and guest models, showcased new collections. Over 200 fashion students from Thailand’s universities and colleges presented silk collections at the annual Thai silk market on Friday night. The Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall, which is located alongside Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River, hosted the event. The annual fair attracts young Thais interested in traditional materials and encourages them to merge traditional silk with current fashion, as per Thailand’s Culture Minister, Itthiphol Kunplome. The third Big Silk Designer Contest received a total of 227 designs, as per to Itthiphol. The term ‘soft power’ entered Thai parlance last month after young rapper ‘Milli’ commercialized Thailand’s customary sticky rice and…

Thailand’s government has introduced a donation drive to feed abandoned animals

Many of the wild animals that the group is attempting to care for have been saved by poachers. Wildcats like lions and tigers, as well as bears, otters, and bird species, are among the animals, according to Ratchada. The 30 million baht will now go towards feeding around 26,000 rescued animals. Donations can be made to the project’s Krungthai Bank account number 980-216-5379, according to the department chief. Ratchada Suriyakul Na Ayutthaya, the department’s director-general, claimed that huge animals such as tigers and bears require around 5 kilograms of meat every day, in addition to vitamins. The government also conducts annual health checkups on the animals, according to him. Several investigations last year revealed that in Southeast Asia, tourist guides and information centers were supporting illicit wildlife trafficking by encouraging tourists to eat their products. According to Hong Hoang, founder and executive director of CHANGE, a Vietnamese environmental NGO, illegal…

Another Indian traveler was robbed of a necklace in Pattaya

According to The Pattaya News, Gourab alleges the women “offered him friendship,” in a circumstance that appears to be practically identical in all of the recent necklace theft incidents. One of the women then slipped behind him and snatched his gold necklace, worth 85,000 baht, according to Gourab. He said that when he realized his jewelry had been stolen, he pushed the women aside and left. The problem of Indian visitors stealing gold in Pattaya has sparked such outrage that a Pattaya police commander announced earlier this month the development of a’specialized’ police patrol squad to monitor any inappropriate situations in tourist areas or crimes against tourists.Gourab expressed his discontent with the situation and pledged to inform his pals. Meanwhile, Pattaya Police intended to examine security footage in the hopes of apprehending the criminals. In Pattaya, for the seventh time in as many weeks, an Indian tourist claims that his…

Short-haul marketing activities are being ramped up by tourism officials

According to a Bangkok Post report published today, Thanet claims that new transportation infrastructure, including Bangkok’s Bang Sue Grand Station and the M6 motorway to the north-eastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, as well as the high-speed rail service between Laos and China, can help bring travelers from other parts of Southeast Asia and eventually China. During the off-peak season, tourism officials are focusing on short-haul markets, with a number of marketing events planned. For the time being, the agency is focusing on Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia, where visitor numbers have already surged dramatically since entry restrictions were removed and commercial flights were reinstated. India, Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia, according to Thanet Phetsuwan of Thailand’s Tourism Authority, are potential markets. The TAT has a number of marketing events planned during the off-peak season, including inviting 40 Malaysian bus operators to a trade convention in Hat Yai at the end of this…

Thailand’s nightlife could resume on Wednesday, but many establishments will be closing by then

Finally, despite increased Songkran traffic, the opening of many tourist enclave bars, and two long weekends when Thais were on the move, the number of daily reported Covid cases has decreased significantly since April 1. Not only did it plummet, but it plummeted by more than 80%. As a result, there are fewer and fewer arguments for keeping residual Covid limitations. A casual stroll through the streets of Patong Beach, Phuket, revealed that Thailand’s tourist areas are still recovering, with many businesses still closed. I chatted with four bar owners from different parts of Thailand last night, and they all told me the same tale. International tourists, who make up a big amount of the present tourist flow, appear to be less likely to swing their legs under a bar stool and engage in conversation with the staff. Thailand’s nightlife operators – pubs, karaoke bars, clubs, and larger massage establishments…

The first’real’ Pride parade in Bangkok will take place on June 5th

In many ways, Bangkok is a multicultural city, not simply in terms of sexuality. If we welcome change, we can have happy lives. Among the notable attendees were representatives from political parties, foreign embassies, the commercial sector, and even Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-office cha’s.In the United States, same-sex marriage, civil unions, domestic partnerships, unregistered cohabitations, and any other kind of same-sex relationship is prohibited. On the other side, Bangkok’s LGBT activists are striving for change. Thai society is extremely traditional, despite its reputation as a haven for LGBT rights. Thai law forbids same-sex couples from legally marrying. Marriage can only be contracted between a man and a woman, according to Thailand’s Civil and Commercial Code. The march will begin at 4 p.m. at Maha Uma Devi Temple, a Hindu temple known as ‘Wat Khaek’ or ‘South Asian temple’ in Thai slang. On Pan and Silom Roads, the temple can be…

Eliza and Matilda are said to have gone on an afternoon hike to a waterfall and did not return to their hostel that night. The following morning, the squad discovered the young females in the bush. The hostel subsequently requested assistance from the park authorities, and a search was launched that night. They were taken to the park office after the park head reported they appeared to be exhausted. Park rangers in Surat Thani, Thailand’s southern province, discovered two visitors who went missing the day before. Eliza Rose, 19, and Matilda Cox, 19, became separated in a bush in Phanom district’s Khao Sok National Park. Matilda comes from Northern Ireland, while Eliza is a British national. The visitor, a 68-year-old guy…

In Thailand 2022, where can I purchase electronics?

Powerbuy, a Central Group store that first opened in 1996, may be found in every Central retail mall in Thailand. This is also true of Robinsons, their second shopping center. Because it’s nearly impossible to find an electric store in Thailand that offers the greatest services and products at a fair price, making an informed decision is critical. Shopping at IT stores or larger chain shopping malls that sell a variety of things, such as Central and The Mall, which sell reputable and trustworthy brands, is recommended for peace of mind. A collaboration between Land and Houses and Quality Houses resulted in the formation of the Home Product Center in June 1995. The company opened its first facility under the Homepro brand in Rangsit a year later, in September 1996. They’re well-known for being the one-stop shop for everything you’ll need for your retreat. It’s a one-stop shop for anything…
