While some vendors may still be unhappy about having to relocate, it’s good news for visitors and travelers who can now enjoy the golden beaches without having to dodge booths, chairs, tables, and dispersed trash. Without clogging up the beach, they can purchase food and beverages from the sellers, go sit on a mat or beach chair, and take in the beach vibes. On June 27, local authorities made the decision to forbid any local vendors from erecting their businesses on the beach. However, they also pledged to find a suitable spot for the hawkers and peddlers who would be adversely affected by the decision. The majority of Chon Buri locals and visitors were said to be content with the new arrangement, according to the media. And yesterday, the media reported that the previous Na Jomtien Beach vendors had moved to a new street food market located in Soi Jomtien 16 on the other side of the beach. Every day, from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., the doors are open. The neighborhood vendors who were prohibited from setting up shop and selling food and drinks on Na Jomtien Beach in June have found new locations and are currently operating normally.
