Honestly, the ranking on these shops is way off. I’ve been to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya multiple times, and the top spot definitely doesn’t have the best quality. Anyone else think the criteria they’re using is skewed?
Totally agree. I think they prioritize quantity over quality. Some of the smaller shops have superior strains but don’t make as much noise.
It’s all about who pays for advertising. The real gems are always out of the spotlight. You need local knowledge to find the best spots.
That’s a solid point. Maybe we should start compiling our own guide based on real experiences rather than paid rankings.
As someone not familiar with the area, this guide was actually helpful. But reading the comments, I guess I need to take it with a grain of salt.
I’m from Ayutthaya and half of these shops are overrated. There are a few local spots not even mentioned that blow these mainstream ones out of the water. Guess they’re trying to appeal to tourists.
Could you recommend some of these local spots? Would love to check out something beyond the tourist traps next time I’m there.
Seconded. A local’s guide would be dope.
I’ve been hearing a lot about the environmental impact of some of these larger shops. Anyone have information on which ones are practicing sustainable cultivation?
Sustainability is key. A couple of shops in the lower rankings are actually eco-friendly. They deserve more recognition for their efforts in sustainable practices.
Prices are getting outrageous. It’s like these shops don’t understand the local economy at all. Tourists might not feel it, but locals definitely do.
It’s the tourist trap effect. Prices inflate in areas they think tourists frequent the most. Local patrons are the collateral damage.
Why is no one talking about the astonishing variety some of these shops offer? I found strains I didn’t even know existed!
Variety is great, but don’t forget about the quality. More isn’t always better, especially when it comes to cannabis.
New to the scene here—any advice for first timers visiting these shops? Anything specific I should be looking out for?
Start with lower THC strains to gauge your tolerance. And don’t be afraid to ask the staff for recommendations, they’re usually pretty knowledgeable.
