The Stones House nightclub is situated on Pattaya’s well-known Walking Street, a popular gathering place for tourists and revelers. Amporn Kaewsang, the club’s proprietor, collaborated with her team to serve patrons a variety of delectable Thai dishes. But last Friday night saw a line-up of families in front of the club. On August 12, the birthday of Queen Sirikit, Thailand celebrates Mother’s Day. The ceremonies for Mother’s Day and the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit begin early in the morning with alms-giving.
Like in the US, Mother’s Day is not a national holiday in many nations. In Thailand, the day off from work is customary. Som tam, or papaya salad, was one among the foods served. They distributed cookies, water, and other things as well. Both patrons and personnel adhered to Covid-19 rules, which included donning masks and washing their hands often. In order to gain virtue, people present food to Thailand’s Buddhist monks in the morning as they go about their daily routines. Amporn promised to carry out this action year to serve those in need. Many people also visit the neighborhood temple to perform additional acts of merit. A Pattaya nightclub owner showed generosity on Friday in honor of Thai Mother’s Day.
