According to the minister, other nations are studying magic mushrooms’ therapeutic application. Thai legislation forbids the use of magic mushrooms. The minister said it will enhance economic growth and let Thais farm legally and make more money. Somsak says fresh magic mushrooms cost 500 baht per kilogram and dried ones 5,000 baht. He warned clients the mushroom was poisonous.
