For these reasons, EGAT is relaunching its “Clean Your Air for the Country” campaign. A dirty air conditioner with a clogged filter can be dangerous and raise your air conditioning bill. Customers who want to qualify must present their national ID card and any recent electricity bill. Those who previously accepted this offer are not permitted to do so again. Participants must not be EGAT workers. Before September 30, you must register if you want to take advantage of the program and save 300 baht.
The program aims to reduce consumers’ electricity costs by 10% by improving air conditioner efficiency. To receive a discount on air conditioner cleaning, make an appointment at one of these places. One air conditioner per residence will be cleaned with 300 Baht from EGAT. The Emporium, the Mall, Blue Port, the Emporium, HomePro, PowerBuy, and Siam Paragon all accept applications. The service is only available for wall-mounted air conditioners with a 24,000 BTU capacity. Pay 300 baht when the appointment is made in-store.
You can contact (062) 273 9396 or (062) 273 9335. The Thai government will cover half of the cost of cleaning your air conditioner as a way to offset rising power costs.
