Over 200 homes in the Kwaeng area of Rayong have flooded as a result of the torrential rain and flash flooding that have engulfed Thailand this week. Because a catfish farmer asked to purchase the chicken carcasses to feed his catfish, Kamnan said that it wasn’t entirely a waste.
In the Ban Na subdistrict, a total of 13 villages were entirely submerged by the floodwaters. Rescue personnel are using boats to evacuate all 13 residents.
In yesterday’s flood in Rayong province, a songtaew truck carrying 15 students came dangerously close to being carried away. At the poultry farm owned by Kamnan Boonsueb in the Ban Na subdistrict, all six houses flooded, with the water level in some areas exceeding one meter. Kamnan calculates that the overall damages will be at least 10 million baht.

Havoc has been caused by flash flooding in the capital and its surroundings as well. According to the Meteorological Department, widespread flash flooding and heavy rain are anticipated to persist today and tomorrow throughout Thailand.
