The country has been praised for its tourism, livability, happiness, Covid-19 reaction, safety, and other aspects throughout the past year.

Koh Pha Ngan is recognized as the finest island for vacations by global insurance giant William Russell, while Koh Samui and Phuket are the third- and fourth-best islands for tourism according to DestinAsian. Lifespan and physical condition In the Impact Ranking 2022 published by the UK publication Times Higher Education, Chulalongkorn University was placed as the 16th best university in the world for supporting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Bumrungrad Hospital was named as the 30th greatest hospital in the world by Newsweek. The UN’s World Happiness Report 2022 placed Thailand as the 61st happiest country.
