Thai Airlines Association and the Tourism Authority of Thailand launched a special offer to boost domestic tourism during the high season. Thailand’s aviation economy is rebounding well from the epidemic, according to the TAT governor. TAT’s target is 50% of the tourism industry’s pre-pandemic 2019 revenue. Yesterday, TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn announced the offer. The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered aviation for three years, he claimed. Domestic flights were grounded. The epidemic affected aviation’s economy and employment.
“Discounts All Over the Sky, Fly All Over Thailand” offers 300 baht off domestic flights in Thailand. Book by October 10 to save 300 baht on any November 1-December 31, 2022 flight. One 300-baht discount per booking. Six airlines joined to provide 300 baht discounts on 500,000 seats for flights before year’s end. Yuthasak said the unique offer will assist the TAT to reach its goal of 1.5 trillion baht for Thailand’s tourism industry this year. Bangkok Airways, Thai AirAsia, Thai Smile, Nok Air, Thai Lion Air, and Thai VietJet participate.
