At the Lien Khuong International Airport, passengers were welcomed with the special dance “Blooming in the Sky,” and a lucky draw for air tickets from Thai Vietjet was also held during the event. Leaders from the Lam Dong Department of Tourism and the People’s Committee of the Lam Dong Province were on hand to greet the arrival of flight VZ940. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Vietjet, stated that…”We are delighted to reconnect Thailand with one of the top travel destinations in Vietnam – ‘Da Lat,’ the city of flowers and beautiful natural landscapes, and it is with great excitement that we say this.” We have made the decision to resume direct flight service between Bangkok and Da Lat in order to extend the range of options and opportunities available to Thai tourists who wish to travel to Vietnam, as well as to extend a warm welcome to Vietnamese tourists who wish to visit Thailand. Since the tourism industry has returned to its pre-pandemic levels, we have a firm belief that the service between the two destinations would make it easier for the region’s growing travel demand and the economic recovery of both countries. Sunday marked the first day that Thai Vietjet has operated its international route between Bangkok and Da Lat since the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus almost three years ago. The service that operates between Suvarnabhumi and Da Lat will do so on the following days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Thai Vietjet resumed its international service in cooperation with the Vietjet Group. The airline provides numerous services between Thailand and Vietnam, including flights from Bangkok to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc, as well as flights from Phuket and Chiang Mai to Ho Chi Minh City. Thai Vietjet has continuously expanded its international flight network to many top tourist destinations including Singapore, Fukuoka (Japan), Da Nang and Phu Quoc (Vietnam), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and Taipei, in order to provide passengers with more options.
