Finally, a list for Phayao! The city’s been overlooked for too long. These shops are top-notch.
Agreed, but I think some great hidden gems are missing from the list. Have you been to GreenHaven on the outskirts?
Yes, I’ve been there! It’s my go-to spot. Maybe it’s best they keep it off the list to avoid overcrowding.
I think the criteria for what makes a shop ‘top-notch’ need to be discussed. Are we considering variety, price, or customer service most?
It’s about time we normalize weed just like any other retail store. This is progress.
Is it really progress? Think about the message this sends to our kids.
It’s about educating our kids on safe consumption and the benefits for medical users. Besides, alcohol has been normalized for years.
As long as there’s strict regulation and education, I don’t see the problem. It’s all about responsible use.
I’m all for supporting local businesses, but some of these shops are just out to make a quick buck without concern for product quality or customer education.
That’s true in some cases, but many of us genuinely care about our customers and the community. It’s not fair to generalize.
Does anyone else worry about the environmental impact of increasing cannabis production? Where’s the sustainability in all this?
Absolutely, it’s a valid concern. But I know a few shops on the list practice organic farming and minimize waste. It’s not all bad.
I think as consumers, we have a responsibility to support eco-friendly shops. It’s the only way to ensure the industry moves in the right direction.
Some of these shops have really helped improve the small local economy here. It’s not just about the weed; it’s about boosting small business.
I question how much of that money actually stays in our community versus going into the pockets of out-of-town owners.
Fair point, but I’ve seen firsthand how some shops sponsor local events and charities. Not perfect, but it’s something.
Let’s not forget the cultural significance of cannabis in Thai history before all this commercialization started.
True, there’s a deep cultural tie that shouldn’t be overshadowed by the industry. But, adaptation is also a part of history.
