Situated in the bustling city of Pattaya, local law enforcement are industriously trying to track down a man caught on camera menace a group of foreign tourists at a local hill’s viewpoint with a gun. This chilling incident, which spanned for approximately 99-seconds as captured on the video, has grasped the attention of many.
The recording of this unsettling occurrence shows a man who seems to come from foreign origins. His age is estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old and he stands at around 170 centimetres in height. The man was seen intimidating approximately 20 men appearing to be of Middle-Eastern descent at the notable viewpoint of Sor Thor Ro 5 hill.
Casting a rather ominous shadow, the man brandished a pistol while donning an intimidating wardrobe consisting of a black shirt and black trousers. He was seen motioning the gun towards the head of one man, a terrifying spectacle, while delivering precise instructions.
In today’s digital age, it comes as no surprise that the video was shot using a handheld device, possibly a smartphone. The video soon found its way onto the Siamchonnews website. However, the source of the video was not stated, leaving much room for speculation.
From the specifics surrounding the video, it appears that the incident unfolded in the bright hours of the morning. As a departure from the typical morning calm, this particular one bore witness to this troubling happening.
On receiving the news of the alarming event, Pattaya’s police chief, Pol Col Thanapong Phothi sprang into action and was quick to deploy a team of investigators to the scene on the following Wednesday. The team concentrated their efforts on examining footage from the available surveillance cameras in the vicinity while also interviewing local vendors who might have witnessed the incident or the suspect prior to the event.
