I love Lumpini Park! It’s such a peaceful spot in the middle of the busy city. You can even see monitor lizards there!
Lumpini Park is overrated. Too crowded during weekends. Thonburirom Park is way better if you want some quiet time.
I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. I like the activity around Lumpini, but I’ll have to check out Thonburirom Park now!
Totally agree with Mark. Thonburirom is a hidden gem.
Benjasiri Park is the best for fitness buffs. The skate park and outdoor gym are awesome!
For me, Benjasiri Park is too small. Suan Luang Rama IX has more variety with its themed gardens.
When I visited Benjasiri, it seemed more like a tourist spot than a place for fitness enthusiasts.
If you are a history buff, Saranrom Park is a must-visit. Its architectural elements are fascinating!
But isn’t Saranrom a bit rundown? I read some reviews saying so.
It’s not brand-new, that’s true, but it’s that touch of history that makes it so special!
Historic places have their charm, even with some wear and tear, don’t you think?
Seri Thai Park early in the morning is magical. The calmness of the lakes and gardens is unbeatable.
Santichaiprakan Park offers the best evening relaxation. The views of the Chao Phraya River are stunning, especially during sunsets.
Agreed! Plus, the cultural performances there add a nice touch.
I filmed a vlog there last summer. The community events made it so lively!
Anyone know if Pathumwananurak Park is good for a picnic? Looking for a new spot.
It’s neat and quiet but I think Suan Luang Rama 8 is better for picnics. The river view is a huge bonus.
I don’t get the hype about Nawamin Phirom Park. It’s pretty average compared to others.
Suan Luang Rama VIII during sunset stroll – paradise found!
It’s also fantastic for cycling! Those tracks are well-maintained and offer great views.
Absolutely! I often cycle there too. It’s the perfect way to end a hectic day.
Now I need to take my bike there. Sounds perfect.
Suan Luang Rama IX – Themed gardens are so captivating! Would recommend to any photographer.
But isn’t it too crowded with photographers though? I feel it loses its charm when it’s packed with people.
Bangkok parks are amazing, but the city needs even more green spaces. Overdevelopment is a real issue.
Why aren’t there more parks listed in the Ari neighborhood? Needs more green spaces there.
I find it odd that Pathumwananurak Park opens only at 10:00 a.m. Seems late compared to the others. Thoughts?
Probably because it’s smaller and more centrally located, they may want to avoid the early morning rush.
If you ask me, all parks should allow night visits. Serene and beautiful under the moonlight.
Despite people’s adoration, Seri Thai Park doesn’t do it for me. A bit too artificial.
Benjasiri Park’s art sculptures are what keep me coming back. Adds a unique touch.
Exactly! It’s almost like an open-air gallery combined with a fitness park. Best of both worlds.
Saranrom Park should have more cafes nearby. Perfect setting for a historic coffee break.
True, that would make for a much more enjoyable visit.
