After nearly five decades in the industry, spanning various countries and an impressive 33 years dedicated to Meinhardt Thailand, Mr. John Pollard is all set to transition from his long-held role as Managing Director to assume a new position as Executive Director in the Bangkok office, effective from 1 July 2024. This shift doesn’t mean we’ll be seeing any less of him; on the contrary, Mr. Pollard will remain an integral part of the Meinhardt Group Global Board meetings and will continue providing his invaluable advice and support to the newly appointed leadership team.
In conjunction with this transition, the company is thrilled to announce the appointment of several exceptionally talented individuals to key leadership roles within the Bangkok office. These appointees have each worked alongside Mr. Pollard for an impressive tenure of over 20 to 30 years:
- Chen Yao Hui will take on the mantle of Managing Director at Meinhardt (Thailand) Ltd., while continuing in his roles as Director of Meinhardt Infrastructure Ltd. and Meinhardt Smart Build Tech Ltd.
- John Anderson is set to become the Deputy Managing Director of Meinhardt (Thailand) Ltd., in addition to his responsibilities as Managing Director of Meinhardt Myanmar Co. Ltd., and Director of Meinhardt Infrastructure Ltd. and Meinhardt Smart Build Tech Ltd.
- Theera Wattanasup will step up as Managing Director of Meinhardt Infrastructure Ltd., all while retaining his role as Director at Meinhardt (Thailand) Ltd.
Mr. Pollard expressed his unwavering confidence in the new leadership, stating, “This new leadership team, together with our fellow Directors, Sasiporn Sirilatthaporn, Matthew Silvester, and Sompoche Sirichote, form an impressive and highly competent Board that is well-equipped to guide our company into the future.
