Paired with the RIMOWA Original suitcase in Emerald, the seasonal capsule collection echoes the natural qualities cherished in the stone, with RIMOWA’s emblematic grooves mirroring the intricate inclusions that lend emeralds their unique character. The gleaming aluminum exterior of both novelties gives further depth to the color, evoking the allure of a precious gemstone.
To celebrate the launch of the collection, RIMOWA unveils a campaign set in a fictional universe where Emerald takes center stage. There, the RIMOWA Original suitcase becomes a portal into a realm that celebrates the beauty of the gem, embodying the collection’s essence. This imaginative landscape, created by artist Jean-Jacques Balzac, is inspired by the vibrant green hues of the gem and futurist architecture, seamlessly blurring the boundaries between the real and virtual.
The new Emerald hue is available in three different sizes across the RIMOWA Original collection, including Cabin, Check-In L, and Trunk Plus. The German Maison’s considered approach to craftsmanship is apparent across the new seasonal suitcase offering, from the stage-free telescopic handle and RIMOWA-pioneered Multi-Wheel system to the TSA-approved locks to secure belongings during travel.
The collection also features RIMOWA’s Flex Divider, a compression system that allows travelers to pack more whilst keeping items in order. Crafted for a lifetime of meaningful journeys, the seasonal suitcase collection benefits from the German Maison’s lifetime guarantee.
The RIMOWA Personal Aluminum Cross-Body Bag in Emerald’s interior features two open compartments, a zipped pocket, and three card slots to keep daily essentials safe, color-matched to the bag’s exterior. A removable leather strap comes in a complimentary shade of green.
