Coinciding neatly with SEVENTEEN’s mesmerizing Bangkok concerts on December 23-24, HYBE crafts an unforgettable two-month series of fan-centric activities and events that invite Carats – as intrepid SEVENTEEN fans are affectionately called – from all corners of the globe to partake in a fandom feast!
Sweeping aside the ordinary, this event serves up an electrifying interactive experience in the bustling ONESIAM area, where fashion, lifestyle, and K-Pop converge. Each day, locals and international guests traverse the vibrant corridors of Siam Piwat’s shopping havens, but during this special period, they are in for a rare treat. Envisioned as a dynamic ‘Co-creation & Collaboration’ initiative, Ms. Saruntorn Asaves, of Siam Piwat, touts this historic Thai first. Imagine: an entire pop-up extravaganza entwining the irresistible draw of ‘SEVENTEEN’ with the Siam Piwat Group’s retail mastery and gourmet treasures.
SEVENTEEN’s 2022 tour left fans clamoring for more, and the group answered the call with ‘FOLLOW,’ starting in July. The tour spanned 20 shows across nine cities and regions, building up to the ultimate fan experience – ‘THE CITY’ project, which follows SEVENTEEN’s success in Japan. Now, it’s Southeast Asia’s turn to dance to the beat of SEVENTEEN’s pop-up symphony!
The fanfare begins with the grand opening of the SEVENTEEN POP-UP on the first floor of Siam Discovery – a sanctuary heralded as Thailand’s first-ever SEVENTEEN pop-up store. This immersive exhibition spans over 400 square meters dressed in SEVENTEEN’s signature Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue hues. The intricate décor brings the boy band’s energetic presence to life, complete with a monumental 3-D logo, dazzling neon lights, and explosive concert visuals. And, let’s not forget, a 360-degree photo booth where memories are waiting to be captured, plus intricately designed jewellery representing CARATs from across the globe.
But that’s not all! The pop-up store is a treasure trove of official SEVENTEEN memorabilia, including exquisite keychains, custom disposable cameras, cheer sticks, concert merchandise, and a special photo album to relive the ‘FOLLOW’ tour. And for a dollop of sweet delight, Duck Donuts serves up a smorgasbord of flavors – thirteen, to be precise, each a tribute to a SEVENTEEN member, all wrapped up in exclusive, collectible packaging.
To add more flavor to the fan experience, the SEVENTEEN Mini Cafe will open its doors on ICONSIAM’s Napalai Terrace come January 2024.
