Participants from diverse nations such as Germany, France, Italy, Australia, Colombia, China, India, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, and of course, the host nation, Thailand, are here to showcase their passion and skills.
This year’s festival is especially electrifying with the debut of a colossal 10-metre-long octopus-shaped kite, adorned with twinkling LEDs. This maritime marvel joins a mesmerizing aerial ballet of illuminated kites that dance over Pattaya’s evening sky, creating a nighttime spectacle that’s nothing short of magical. It’s a radiant highlight anticipated by both organizers and attendees alike.
Not to be outdone, the Thaitan Kite Team from Thailand has brought smiles to countless faces with their Smiling Giant inflatable kites, boasting an impressive international résumé from over 10 countries. These gargantuan grins hovering above add a whimsical touch to the festivities.
From Germany, an array of exquisite dragon kites unfold their wings. Crafted with cutting-edge technology and representing the crème de la crème of inflatable kite engineering, these vibrant behemoths are treasures of the sky.
Meanwhile, a squadron of French kite maestros demonstrates their prowess with killer whale-shaped kites, proving that the Pattaya sky is a playground without limits. This aerial dance is nothing short of captivating.
