In Saudi Arabia, Thai laborers might make more than 100,000 Baht

According to Pairoj Chotikasathien, director-general of the Department of Employment, seven Saudi Arabian companies have requested 2 161 Thai workers, including nurses, drivers, cleaners, and engineers. He promised that the department will send out qualified employees as soon as it was practical. He stated that a memorandum of understanding would be completed and personnel would be sent to Saudi Arabia in 90 days. He asserted that Thai workers are now permitted to work in Saudi Arabia as a result of Prime Minister Prayut Chan’s efforts to normalize relations between the two nations following thirty years of tense relations. Suchart Chomklin, Thailand’s labor minister, said in remarks made on Wednesday that Thailand will focus on exporting educated or semi-skilled people to Saudi Arabia in order to meet its needs. Suchart claims that the Saudi Crown Prince plans to build a modern, huge city that will house the financial center of the Middle East and provide over 1 million jobs. He claimed that the tourism, hotel, restaurant, and healthcare sectors in Saudi Arabia face a severe labor shortage. He claimed that soon private hiring companies would be allowed to move employees to Saudi Arabia. He stated that 60 Thai individuals have applied for jobs, including 45 nurses and 15 engineers.
