One notable initiative is the “One Village One Thai Food Chef” project, aiming to produce 6,500 food service professionals this year and an ambitious 15,000 the following year, thereby boosting the culinary prowess of the nation.
The cultural phenomenon of Muay Thai will also receive a substantial push, with plans to export instructors and equipment, ensuring the martial art gains international appeal. The fashion industry is set to flourish as local materials and unique Thai craftsmanship are encouraged, showcasing Thailand’s distinctive design ethos.
Moreover, Thai music is on track to captivate the world stage with significant promotional efforts planned for artists and songs, along with stringent measures to protect their intellectual property, Mr. Chai highlighted.
In an exciting move, the government aims to transform gaming into a lucrative avenue by organizing E-sports events, with an ambitious vision to position Thailand as the premier gaming hub in the region. Mr. Chai emphasized that these strategic efforts are expected to contribute significantly, generating a minimum of 4 trillion baht over the upcoming four years, and elevating the average household income to at least 200,000 baht annually.
