Wow, Nile Rodgers is a legend! I can’t believe he’s coming to Bangkok. This is going to be epic!

    • MusicLover93 July 19, 2024

Absolutely! His work with CHIC and all those collaborations are just beyond iconic.

      • Sarah P. July 19, 2024

Yeah, but the ticket prices are outrageous. Not everyone can drop 5,800 Baht on a concert!

      • Joe Smith July 19, 2024

I get that, but it’s not every day you get to see such a talented artist live. Worth every Baht if you ask me.

  2. Randall W. July 19, 2024

Ticket sales are all about squeezing us dry. When music should be accessible for everyone, it’s the rich who get front-row seats.

    • Jessica Davis July 19, 2024

But you have options. The cheaper tickets at 2,800 Baht aren’t that bad for this legendary performance.

      • Grower134 July 19, 2024

True, plus there’s always the chance that some people resell their tickets at a lower price closer to the date.

      • Randall W. July 19, 2024

Resale isn’t a guarantee, though. It just feels wrong that access to culture is behind a paywall.

  3. Sam July 19, 2024

Does anyone else think Nile Rodgers hasn’t been that relevant lately? It’s mostly nostalgia fueling this concert.

    • Shakespear3 July 19, 2024

Are you kidding? ‘Get Lucky’ with Daft Punk was massive! He always finds a way to stay relevant.

      • Sam July 19, 2024

Okay, I’ll give you that. But still, his biggest hits are from decades ago.

  4. Nicky M. July 19, 2024

Finally something other than K-pop in Bangkok! No disrespect to K-pop, but variety is the spice of life.

    • KFanGirl July 19, 2024

Hey, K-pop is amazing! But yeah, some diversity is good. I might give this concert a shot.

  5. M.K. July 19, 2024

Can’t wait to hear ‘Le Freak’ live! One of my all-time favorite songs.

  6. Jazz92 July 19, 2024

At those prices, I hope they deliver a flawless show.

  7. Emily Johnson July 19, 2024

Ugh, pre-sale access for Mastercard? Just another way to cater to the elite.

  8. Theo R. July 19, 2024

Nile Rodgers has a fabulous discography. Hoping for some surprise tracks!

  9. Dee D. July 19, 2024

Why Bangkok of all places? Would’ve loved to see them in the US.

    • ExpatMike July 19, 2024

Bangkok is growing as a cultural hub. Plus, not everything needs to happen in the US!

  10. Kara B. July 19, 2024

For those complaining about price, remember you get what you pay for. Quality over quantity!

  11. JazzPhilosopher July 19, 2024

I find it interesting how music from different decades can evoke varying levels of nostalgia and relevance.

  12. Tommy July 19, 2024

If you haven’t heard ‘Good Times’ live, you haven’t lived!

  13. Lee July 19, 2024

Nile Rodgers = living legend. No debate.

    • DiscoFan89 July 19, 2024

Agreed! His influence is felt far and wide in the industry.

  14. Randy P. July 19, 2024

Can we talk about the insane demand for tickets? These are going to sell out in minutes!
