Instead, he dispatched a non-government representative. Obama asked Kerry to represent the United States at the 2013 APECLM. Thanee Saengrat, a spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, confirmed that President Macron would be present. Macron expressed his eagerness to meet with Prayut. Emmanuel Macron, who became French Prime Minister in 2017, will visit Thailand in May. Emmanuel Macron is the “special guest.” Even though Thailand is not a member of the G20, it was requested that Prime Minister Prayut attend the summit in Osaka, Japan.
