According to the results of a recent survey conducted by the American news company US News, Thailand was placed sixth in Asia and 28th worldwide. Out of a total of 85 countries, Switzerland was ranked as the best in this year’s research, followed by Germany, Canada, the United States, and Sweden. Japan topped the list of Asian nations, followed by China, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand. According to a statement by a government official named Anucha Burapachaisri, Thailand can be ranked as the second-best nation in Asean, behind Singapore, based on the Asia listing. The ranking was determined by ten distinct factors, including quality of life, social purpose, adventure, cultural influence, entrepreneurship, and heritage. Other factors included corporate orientation, authority, and social purpose.
According to Anucha, this ranking demonstrates that foreigners have a favorable opinion of Thailand, which is widely considered as one of the world’s top tourism destinations. In this year’s competition, the readers of Conde Nast Traveler selected Thailand the third greatest place to visit in the world. In the meantime, Anucha reported Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha as stating that the potential and compassion of the Thai people are also significant factors in Thailand’s attractiveness among international tourists. He cited Prayut as saying, “All Thais working together to aid in the country’s development will allow Thailand to overcome any obstacles.”
Thailand is the fifth best country in Asia, according to a list supplied by USNews.com
