The seasonal Air Canada service will operate four times per week from today until April 17th. Signature Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class all provide lie-flat seating. “We are thrilled to launch Air Canada’s first nonstop service to Southeast Asia and the first nonstop trip between North America and Thailand,” stated an Air Canada executive. We have streamlined connections to and from our trans-Pacific hub at YVR to provide customers with convenient travel options to see this vibrant city renowned for its history, gastronomy, and culture, as well as to conduct international business dealings.” Bangkok is also one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, and we have optimized connectivity to and from our transpacific hub at YVR.” This new service from YVR is another step in the right way toward reaching our aim of making YVR one of the most important trans-Pacific ports in North America. We eagerly anticipate the arrival of new and returning clients. During the celebration, Canada’s Minister of Transport, Omar Alghabra, delivered the following address: “Improving access between countries is essential for a robust Canadian aviation sector.” Air Canada’s new service between Vancouver and Bangkok will facilitate travel for tourists and contribute to the expansion and growth of the tourism industries in both Canada and Thailand.
