In order to show appreciation for fathers across the country, various BMA agencies, such as district offices, are making preparations to celebrate Father’s Day. The Sanam Luang in the Phra Nakhon district will be offering free medical checks and haircuts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., making it one of the day’s most important and exciting events. The most prominent buildings in Bangkok were adorned with floral arrangements on Monday in celebration of Father’s Day as well as the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday.
According to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, more than one hundred thousand seedlings and flowering plants have been planted in the areas surrounding the Chitralada and Dusit palaces, Ratchadamnoen Road, the Democracy Monument, the Phan Fa Lilat Bridge, and Bangkok City Hall. These areas include: In addition, the Bangkok City Hall and the Phan Fa Lilat Bridge can be found in this area (BMA). The holiday-themed light displays that have been constructed at various municipal landmarks are sure to be enjoyed by both locals and visitors alike. The decorations are a testament to the royal grace that the late King Bhumibol possessed, as stated by Khachit Chatchawanit, who serves as the deputy permanent secretary for the BMA.
