Isn’t it amazing how Lamphun has become a hotspot for weed tourism? Never thought I’d see the day.
Absolutely! The quality and diversity of shops is mind-blowing. Makes Amsterdam look like amateur hour.
Right? I visited ‘The Green Haven’ last month, and their strains were out of this world. Amsterdam needs to catch up!
This is concerning. Are we now promoting drug tourism over our rich cultural heritage? Lamphun is more than just weed.
Lamphun’s ‘Ganja Galore’ is the best. They have the most knowledgeable staff and the rarest strains.
Best according to who? I’ve found their strains to be overpriced and not that unique. ‘Herbal Legends’ is way better.
Have you tried their ‘Lunar Eclipse’? Nothing overpriced about that experience. I guess to each their own.
As someone who’s lived in Lamphun all my life, the explosion of cannabis shops is a mixed bag. It’s great for the economy but terrible for local culture.
The economic boost is undeniable, but I also see your point. I hope there’s a balance that can be maintained to preserve Lamphun’s heritage.
All this talk about weed, and no one mentions the impact on Lamphun’s historic sites. Tourism shouldn’t come at the cost of preservation.
I disagree. The shops bring people who might never have come otherwise. They contribute to the economy, and some of that money goes back into preservation.
Money isn’t everything. Once the integrity of our historic sites is compromised, no amount of money can restore it.
Visited Lamphun last summer, and the variety of cannabis shops was impressive. It’s like they’re competing to outdo each other in quality and experience!
Totally agree! Every time I visit, there’s something new. It’s become a must-visit place for cannabis enthusiasts.
Considering the potential for addiction and misuse, glorifying cannabis shops seems irresponsible. Is this the message we want to send tourists?
Cannabis has been proven to have many benefits, and going overboard is a risk with anything. Education and moderation are key.
It’s not all bad. Some shops have started collaborating with local artisans to promote Lamphun’s crafts alongside their products. It’s a win-win.
