Each day, seventy passports will be issued at the Red Cross Fair, which is one of the most exciting events that will take place this year. From December 8th to December 18th, the expo is being held as a hybrid event, both at Lumpini Park and online. According to deputy government spokesman Rachada Dhnadirek, the Foreign Ministry station outside Gate 3 of the park and close to Rama IV Road would handle 70 passport applications daily.
Applicants have the choice of paying 1,500 baht for a ten-year passport or 1,000 baht for a five-year passport. Additionally, applicants must pay 40 baht to have their passports mailed to them. The distribution of queue numbers will commence at 1:00 p.m., and applications will be processed until 8:00 p.m. Diplomats, government officials, Buddhist monks, and those seeking passports for the Haj pilgrimage are ineligible to use this service, according to Rachada. According to what she suggested, applicants under the age of 20 will be needed to be accompanied by a parent. In honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, who is turning 90 years old, the theme of this year’s fair is “Nine Decades under the Queen’s Grace.” According to Rachada, the fair will mark Her Majesty’s 66 years as president of the Thai Red Cross Society. She said that in addition to festivities honoring Her Majesty, there would also be mini-concerts, kiosks selling merchandise, games, and even an online fortune teller. Those unable to visit the fair in person can view the event online at http://www.com/ if they wish to make a blood donation between the hours of 5:00 and 9:00 pm.
