After the unbounded success of Sustainability Expo 2022 which hosted a prodigious audience of over 253,000 visitors, we are excited to introduce its successor — Sustainability Expo 2023 (SX 2023), returning for the illustrious fourth year. A testament to our commitment to enhancing sustainability and eco-consciousness, SX 2023 aims to supersede its predecessor, inviting over 320,000 global participants, making it a grander extravaganza than ever before.

Lauded as one of the most colossal sustainability conferences in the ASEAN region, SX 2023, will grace at the renowned Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in the bustling metropolis of Bangkok from 29 September to 8 October 2023.

Hosted by the eminent Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev) in cooperation with our four esteemed partners, this event encompasses the vital theme “Sufficiency for Sustainability,” harmoniously cohering with the sufficiency economy philosophy propagated by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. Moreover, the festival aims to celebrate and promote the sustainable projects championed by His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua.

In the words of Ms. Tongjai Thanachanan, SX Director, the event is a prompt response to the escalating problem of global warming and the resultant ‘Global Boiling.’ SX 2023 is, in essence, a collaborative motion uniting various global and regional organisations, private and governmental sectors, and a host of partners both locally and internationally. This solicits a collective effort and awareness about sustainability, thereby achieving a ‘Good Balance, Better World’.

Augmenting the above ethos, SX 2023 successfully draws participation from over 100 pioneering organizations, 250 eminent guest speakers and a vibrant network of 500 regional and global sustainability leaders and businesses. The thriving 10-day exposition is ready to welcome eager attendees this year, aligning its objectives with the global vision to combat the climate crisis and uplift environmental stability.

The grandeur of the SX 2023 remains unrivaled as it sprawls over an impressive 70,000 square meters at QSNCC, significantly larger than the previous year’s 40,000 square meters. Thus, providing visitors a larger platform to experience the latest in sustainability and innovation.

The event recognizes and upholds the important role of local enterprises and the government in enhancing sustainability efforts. Therefore, the ESG Symposium hosted by SCG and the Thailand Climate Action Conference (TCAC) by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment are highly anticipated staples of this year’s event. Also on the agenda is the collaboration of Thailand Supply Chain Network (TSCN) and various other entities to develop a sustainable commercial model ‘B2C2B’ (Business-to-Consumer-to-Business).

In a nutshell, Sustainability Expo 2023 is set to play a pivotal role in leading the global community towards a lasting and transformative journey of sustainability and eco-consciousness. We invite everyone to partake in the plethora of activities, collaborations, and overwhelming participation aimed at achieving our primary goal: “Good Balance, Better World”.

SX 2023 not only provides visitors with a platform to explore sustainable trends but also offers eight exciting zones – SEP Inspiration, Better Me, Better Living, Better Community, Better World, SX Food Festival, SX Kids Zone, and SX Marketplace. Each zone is carefully curated to cater to the different interests of the attendees, provide interactive sustainability-focused experiences, and ensure a fun-filled event.

The expo encapsulates fascinating talks in the SX Talk Stage, conducive for learning from experts in green business, global green market trends, green lifestyles, and innovations. It is a one-stop holiday destination with eco-friendly products, delectable sustainable food options, innovative climate change initiatives, progress on a smart city development, and health and wellness advancements.

With diverse zones like the Blind Experience, aimed to educate about social equality, and the rePartmentStore zone offering products made from recycled materials, SX 2023 is bound to be an adventure for all. We also invite those with a green thumb to join us at the Park & Nature Walk Activities zone, located next to the SX Kids Zone, for nature exploration and relaxation.

For food enthusiasts, the SX Food Festival themed “Thai Street Food Museum,” awaits your presence. Celebrity chefs will be showcasing sustainable food concepts, including zero-waste cooking and alternative protein sources.

Of course, not forgetting our younger visitors, the SX Kids Zone is the perfect place for pre-teens to get hands-on knowledge about sustainability. The activities focus on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, recycling, clean energy, and ocean conservation initiatives and are designed to infuse environmental awareness in an exciting and engaging manner.

Last but not least, the SX Marketplace is a treasure trove of offerings – from design innovations, farm products, community goods, and home décor items. This space houses more than 200 shops owned by our dedicated partner organizations. A cup of coffee from HARVKIND, a café nestled in a sustainable furniture showroom within the marketplace, is a must-try!

Awareness is the first step towards action. With a variety of educational, inspirational, and fun activities, SX 2023 aspires to foster greater awareness and place Bangkok at the forefront of sustainability. Don’t miss out on joining us at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) from 29 September to 8 October 2023 for an unforgettable experience of collective eco-conscious action!
