In a sequence of two noteworthy journeys, totalling 119 laborers from Thailand are timetable to make a journey back home from Israel, divided into two flights taking place on the eagerly anticipated days like Friday and Sunday. This follows in the wake of the precedent set by the initial cluster of 15 Thai laborers who joyfully emerged on their homeland’s tarmac this pas Thursday.
Under the dignified and rigorous guidance of the Thai embassy in Israel itself, 19 of Thailand’s diligent workers – all men – embarked on their journey home from Tel Aviv. They soared through the international skies aboard the El Al Airlines Flight LY085, in the twilight period of 4.30am local time, on an auspicious Friday morning.
Amid the palpable anticipation and excitement, they are expected to complete their aerial voyage from Tel Aviv to Suvarnabhumi airport. The touchdown is anticipated for the same evening, at precisely 5.15pm.
Following the announcement of the flight details, the voice of the Foreign Ministry was heard from its spokesperson – Kanchana Patarachoke. It was revealed that another 100 Thai workers, without exception, all men, would experience the joy of returning to their homeland from far away Israel on the following Sunday.
With all the arrangements put in place, they will take off from Tel Aviv, making a short visit to Dubai aboard the Fly Dubai Flight FZ1550, commencing their travel at 11am local time on Saturday. They won’t be stopping here for long as they’ll be boarding a connecting flight, FZ1837, set to depart Dubai at 8pm local time, Saturday evening, aiming their route to home.
From the skies of Dubai to the promising land of Thailand, they are expected to complete their travel saga at U-tapao airport located in the Ban Chang district of Rayong, as the sun welcomes the new Sunday morning at 7.25am.
Following, these laborers will be transported via a bus straight from U-Tapao airport to the enchanting SC Park Hotel, nestled in Wang Thonglang district, in the heart of Bangkok. Their waiting kin can warmly greet them at the hotel, where their expected arrival time is promptly around 10am, Ms. Kanchana rejoices in sharing.
Looking at the state of affairs, as of the recent Friday, the unfortunate impact of the Israel-Palestine conflict upon Thai workers reveals 21 of our kin lost, 14 injured, and a disheartening number of 16 possibly held hostage.
