A sunny morning took a ghastly turn for Phuket province as the news of the brutal homicide of a local commercial driver surfaced, sending shockwaves through the region. The unfortunate occurrence took place after an altercation in a popular nighttime hangout spot, with the victim meeting with his untimely demise right at the doorstep of a nearby hotel. The actively responsive and local Phuket police were present at the scene to start the investigation at the break of dawn, spearheaded by the dedicated Deputy Inspector of Phuket City Police Station, Surachai Watitsuppaphon.

He was found prone with his shirt and shorts stained a horrifying crimson, the hue ominously reflecting the red colour of his attire. This 33-year-old individual had suffered deadly stabbing injuries under his left nipples which had damaged his heart, and another on his left rear.
The scene did not whisper any tell-tale signs of a fight or struggle that might have preceded the gruesome homicide. Virun’s cellular device was discovered at the crime scene, indicating he might have met his maker at least three or four hours before his body was found.
The investigating team meticulously analysed the nearby premises of a famed restaurant located a mere 500 metres away from the bloody scene. This restaurant seemed to hold dark secrets of its own as it resounded with bloodstains that once again painted a deadly picture. The collected blood samples are currently under comparison with samples obtained from the deceased for further leads.
Shedding some light into the unnerving darkness of the incident, initial inquiries revealed earlier reports of an altercation in the vicinity of the restaurant, dating back to the early hours of the day at 1:50am. However, by the time the law enforcement arrived, the tidbits of the fight seemed to have evaporated leaving behind an eerie calm.
Witnesses from the locality narrated a hurried departure of individuals involved in the brawl, connections to the murder still under investigation by the local police. The victim, driver Virun, was employed at the Phuket provincial commercial office and was sighted enjoying his drink at the same restaurant where a possible heated argument may have broken out. To connect all the pieces of this puzzle, CCTV footage from the restaurant is currently under review by the Phuket City Police investigation team.
