The number of visitors from other countries who are anticipated to come to Thailand this year has been calculated in a number of different methods by authorities in charge of tourism. Ratchadaphon forecast that there would be a total of 5 million visitors from other countries visiting Phuket this year. Since the beginning of the previous week, the head of Phuket’s tourism industry has been expressing confidence that the island might get as many as 3.5 million foreign tourists in 2018.

Since the “Test and Go” policy of the Thailand Pass was eliminated, it is no longer a mystery that the majority of tourists who visit Phuket are from India. In fact, this is one of the island’s biggest draws. Between the 1st and the 18th of May, there were 12,200 Indian visitors that visited Phuket. The United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore are the top three countries that send the most tourists to Phuket, making it the most popular tourist destination in the world.

Now that Thailand Pass has eliminated its “Test & Go” plan, the immigration office at Phuket International Airport claims that the majority of visitors to the island province are from India. Between the 1st and the 18th of May, a total of 12,200 Indians vacationed in Phuket. After China, the top 10 nations that send the most tourists to Phuket are, in decreasing order, Australia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, Malaysia, and the United States of America. The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia round out the top ten.

According to the head of the Phuket Tourism and Sports office, there will likely be an increase in the number of Indian visitors to Phuket, which is well recognized as a beach paradise on the global stage. The director of the movie is named Ratchadaphon Oin.

At least 200,000 visitors from other countries are anticipated to arrive in Phuket this month, with the majority of them coming from India.

In the event that circumstances in Russia and China do not shift, Ratchadaphon believes that Indians will continue to constitute the most numerous tourist group. In the face of China’s ongoing clampdown measures and the lack of any hint that it would open up, Thailand is shifting its attention to Europe and India in order to promote tourism and its faltering economy.

According to information provided by the TAT’s Intelligence Center on Tuesday, the top five tourist markets for Thailand are as follows: Britain (with 84,600 tourists), India (82,000), Germany (71,000), the United States of America (61,000), and Russia (60,000). Russia and Germany were the top two tourism destinations in the world in the previous month, but India did not make the cut.
