Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays will be departure days for Thai AirAsia X flights departing from Melbourne. Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are the days that flights are scheduled to depart from Sydney. The frequency of these flights will be increased to three times each week. For a very long time, people from the Thai culture and the Australian culture have respected and been interested in each other’s accomplishments and ways of life. It is the ideal holiday site for many generations of Australian visitors and tourists since it is close to Australia, and has a culture that is laid-back, friendly people, and has good currency conversion rates. All of these factors contribute to making it an attractive destination. This has been going on for a considerable amount of time. Since the beginning of the epidemic, December 1 marked the first flight from Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport to Bangkok which did not make any stops along the way. This flight did not make any stops along the way. The inaugural flight along the world’s newest route, which connects Sydney and Bangkok, took place today. This was the very first flight ever to take place along a route of this type. Thai AirAsia X will utilize Airbus A330 aircraft for both of these flights. Each of these aircraft has 377 ordinary seats and 12 lie-flat premium seats. Although tickets went on sale in August, only roughly eighty percent of the available seats had been purchased by the time the first flight had left the gate. There were no tickets available for purchase on the return flight.
Before the disease became widespread, over 790,000 people from Australia traveled to Thailand each year. The year 2019 saw the beginning of the budget airline service in Australia. The inaugural flight took off from Brisbane and landed in Bangkok. The flight was scheduled to take off, however, due to the outbreak, the flight had to be canceled. The Chief Executive Officer of Thai AirAsia X, Tassapon Bijleveld, believes that COVID-19 was a blessing in disguise, despite its appearance as a misfortune. He stated that “We always planned to go to Melbourne and Sydney, which are the cities that have the most people in them.” However, before COVID was implemented, all of the airport landing slots were taken, the airport was bustling with activity, and we were unable to land. The arrival of Thai AirAsia X into the popular Melbourne and Sydney routes has the potential to reduce the cost of airfare for Australians traveling to Thailand.
