Amidst the quiet of his bedroom where dreams once lingered, he was discovered unresponsive, having been stabbed in the chest with a 15-centimetre kitchen knife – its steel penetrating his heart. Witnesses to this unspeakable crime were his loving wife and innocent young grandson, visibly shaken and grasping to make sense of the sudden violence that shattered their peace.
