In one of the provinces in northern Thailand, the abundant pink lotus blooms are luring tourists to the area. Over 100 rai of land in the lake and swamp known as Bueng Boraphet, which is located in the province of Nakhon Sawan, is currently covered in lotuses.
According to a member of staff at the office of the Bueng Boraphet Wildlife Sanctuary, the lotuses have been flowering since the beginning of this month. The employee stated that it is anticipated that the lotuses will blossom throughout the marshes at the beginning of December. The Bueng Boraphet wetland and lake complex is home to Thailand’s largest collection of freshwater marshes and lakes. Those interested in flowers can hire a private boat operator to have a closer look at the lotuses. According to Nation Thailand, the starting price for an hourly rental of a boat with 12 seats is 600 baht. Those who are interested in seeing the breathtaking lotuses should contact the Bueng Boraphet Wildlife Sanctuary Office at the following number: 056-009-717. It’s not just in the province of Nakhon Sawan that flowers are starting to blossom in northern Thailand. Mae Hong Son province in Thailand is known for its seasonal golden blooms, which attract a lot of visitors. According to the head of the tourism bureau for the province, hotels and resorts are reporting occupancy rates of up to 75%. According to him, this is a significantly greater occupancy rate compared to the rates that are witnessed at other periods of the year. Dok Bua Tong flowers, also known as Mexican sunflowers, are attracting a large number of visitors to the Khun Yuam district in order to take photographs of them. Camping and other outdoor activities can be enjoyed to their full potential during the winter months in Mae Hong Son and the other northern Thai provinces. During the past week, a mountain in Thailand’s well-known northern region of Chiang Mai attracted a large number of tourists due to its breathtaking outlook.
