Northeast Thailand will experience Tropical Storm Noru on Thursday

The Meteorological Department reports that Tropical Storm Noru has formed in the Pacific Ocean and is headed for Thailand. Tropical Storm Noru is projected to make landfall in Thailand on Thursday, two days later than originally predicted.

According to Thailand’s Meteorological Department, the typhoon will bring torrential rainfall and flooding comparable to the Dianmu storm that battered Thailand in September of last year. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy precipitation is anticipated in every region of Thailand from September 28 to October 1.

In the Andaman Sea, a new monsoon is developing, which will be intensified by the tropical storm. Noru slammed the Philippines on Sunday and Monday after forming in the Pacific Ocean.
