On Saturday, the three-day event was transformed into a training facility for Huawei’s “Seeds for the Future” initiative. They spent two hours touring the Thailand Metaverse Expo’s Experience, Showcase, and Workshop areas. At 30 booths, students tried out emerging technologies, while 50 local and international specialists addressed an audience of those working in the tech sector. Simon Lin, CEO of Huawei Asia Pacific: “The seeds signify optimism, zeal, and the future.” 12,000 students from 500 universities in 140 countries and regions participate in the program. A new chapter for the region’s tech talent will begin in 2021 with the signing of an MoU between Huawei and the ASEAN Foundation to expand Seeds for the Future.
The first worldwide metaverse show in Thailand attracted 120 top students from 16 countries throughout Asia and the Pacific, including 10 Thai students. Thailand Tourism Authority and the ASEAN Foundation worked together on the project (TAT). We’re pleased to be here since this event helps us understand the metaverse, the students stated. Up until next Saturday, 120 digital whizzes are in Thailand for a nine-day boot camp (August 27). The curriculum incorporates “Tech4Good” initiatives, cross-cultural activities, and tech immersion. The digital age is here. Talent is necessary for continuous growth in the digital age. According to him, young people will establish the IT industry in Asia Pacific. The memo was signed by officials and international organizations. According to speakers, multiparty cooperation is essential to creating the region’s ecosystem for digital talent. In Bangkok, a seminar at CentralWorld explored the metaverse. A “Seeds for the Future” field trip will be co-hosted by TAT in Thailand. Future IT talent in the area is being developed through the “Thailand Metaverse Expo 2022.”
