Cannabis is used in cooking and treatment in Thailand. Thai Healing Arts Institute calls marijuana a “analgesic and sedative.” Cannabis’ medical use was banned by the 1979 Narcotics Act, ending traditional Thai herbal medicine. In June 2022, Thailand removed marijuana from its list of banned narcotics, allowing medical research. The Thaiger recommends the following cannabis therapy facilities: On June 9, Min Buri hospital Nawamin 9 introduced “Doctor Gan.”
