Beyond just the anniversary, this event is part of a greater initiative called “Vijit Chao Phraya 2023,” aiming to light up the Chao Phraya River with an extraordinary display in December 2023. Co-orchestrated by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) along with several public and private collaborators, the event aims to showcase the cultural patchwork alongside the river’s mesmerising course. The featured highlights will include iconic landmarks like Wat Arun and numerous other key tourist attractions.
